Air Force Museum’s Peter Rule Exhibition

Darfield Library is proud to host this exhibition during Christchurch Pride Week. Squadron Leader Peter Rule had a distinguished career as a pilot in the RNZAF, yet he was pressured to leave the Air Force because he was gay. Learn Peter’s story through this exhibition which acknowledges all those who, like Peter, suffered discrimination in the past on the grounds of their sexual orientation.   The exhibition is available from the 5th to the 11th March.
