Mana Tipua is a Ōtautahi-based organisation supporting rangatahi takatāpui (LGBTQIA+ Māori) aged 13–25 through kaupapa Māori community, wellbeing, and educational programmes. This January, they are hosting Noho Raumati—a national gathering at a marae in Waitaha for rangatahi takatāpui aged 15–25 from across Aotearoa to connect, learn, and celebrate identity. The event is free, with kai and transport (including flights) provided.
Throughout the year, Mana Tipua also runs regular activities in Ōtautahi, including social drop-ins, study sessions, reo Māori classes, and kaupapa Māori community gatherings, as well as one-on-one wellbeing and gender-affirming support.
