Poet and performer Hinemoana Baker will lead queer writers of all stripes and spots, and any level of experience, through the delightful playground that poetry can be. Hinemoana’s approach frees text from its usual limitations and helps writers play to their strengths, and the strengths of language itself.
The workshop will include free-writing sessions and writing exercises, as well as creating a finished poem together as a group. There will also be valuable tips about performing your work, from a musician and spoken-word from an artist whose experience ranges across nearly three decades and many stages and events, both national and international.
This event will be at The Kind Foundation
