DESCRIPTION:The Canterbury Film Society is back celebrating pride in 2026!! After the huge success of our screening of “But I’m a Cheerleader!” in 2025\, we are honoured to support Christchurch Pride once again by having a free screening of the queer and drag classic “The Adventures of Priscilla\, Queen of the Desert” at the Christchurch Art Gallery on Monday 16th March 2026. \nAll that is asked if you attend is a (optional) gold coin donation and you get to experience one of the all time great queer classics on the big screen! Refreshments and treats will be available (at a small cost) at the event. All proceeds will be donated to Christchurch Pride! \nCome along\, sing some camp songs\, dance along with the wonderful onscreen queens\, and have a fun time!
