Christchurch Pride Fest 2024 is kicking things off with the annual Walk for Support on Thursday 14 March. This family-friendly journey through Cashel Mall attracted over 700 supporters and participants in 2023 and is bound to be as popular this year.
We welcome anyone from the LGBTQIA+ community, allies, whānau and supporters to join us on the day.
We also encourage businesses, hospitality outlets and residents along this route and throughout the central city to show their support – be it through window displays, special offers or by allowing staff to attend on the day. This is a chance to affirm that Ōtautahi Christchurch is a welcoming and open space for our minority communities.
