Rainbow Swim Club Open Night

March 19 7:00 pm

Kia ora,

I’m Cheena (she/her) a queer-identifying movement facilitator. Earlier this year I started Queer Community Yoga Ōtautahi – movement exploration for queer, trans, and gender-diverse people. I’m offering a weekly yoga practice that centres curiosity, community, and celebrating who we already are.
People are invited to arrive just as they are. All movements are optional – you can move (or be still) as much as you like.

Classes are run out of Linwood Eastside Gallery. We move surrounded by a diverse range of artworks, to celebrate the art of our bodies!

Chch Pride and Alice are proud to present and Advance Screening of PILLION.

Alexander Skarsgard and Harry Melling star in the hilarious, subversive and sexy, and surprisingly tender love story about a timid man who is swept off his feet when an enigmatic, impossibly handsome biker takes him on as his submissive.

Wallflower Colin (Harry Melling) leads a humdrum existence until he meets the impossibly handsome Ray (Alexander Skarsgård), a mysterious biker he is soon desperately devoted to.

As Colin submits to Ray and enters an exciting new world of desire, he must decide the limits of his devotion.

Get ready for a glitter-soaked dance party delivering pure joy from the very first beat. Baseline Boogie Silent Disco is back after their debut with Sold Out shows at The World Buskers Festival for a one-night two-slot Pride special, kicking off at – The Incubator Container (Cashell Mall near Rollicking Gelato), led by the icon, high-camp, impossible-to-ignore Fever Queens.

Expect a joyous, genre-fluid musical journey through the CBD – pop bangers, queer anthems, throwbacks, surprises, and whatever else feels right in the moment. There are no rules here except: dance hard, feel good, and let your inner sparkle lead the way.

Follow your boogie guides as streets become dancefloors, strangers become dance partners, and the night fills with colour, movement, and unapologetic queer joy. It will be silly. It will be euphoric. You’ll finish flowing, grinning, and maybe a little bit in love with everyone around you.

Dress-ups are highly encouraged – think rainbows, sequins, camp, chaos, or whatever makes you feel fabulous!

Spaces are limited, so grab your ticket, grab your glitter, and come dance your way through Pride with us.
