Grace Petrie – Australia/New Zealand Tour – Christchurch

March 18 7:00 pm

$45

UK protest singer Grace Petrie has become a force on the international folk scene, known for her razor-sharp lyrics, fierce politics and laugh-out-loud wit on stage. Often compared to Billy Bragg, she writes songs that rally, comfort and cut straight to the bone, tackling themes of feminism, queer identity and social justice with passion and bite.
Since touring New Zealand in 2020 with The Guilty Feminist, Grace has won a loyal following here, drawn to both her firebrand politics and her disarming charm. Her breakout single Black Tie became a queer anthem, streaming over 1.2 million times and drawing praise from MOJO, The Observer and The New Yorker.

Queer Supper Club – our monthly dinner meet up for the Rainbow community is back for 2026! To kick off the season we will be starting with a Pride month dinner. Pizza trap (home of phenomenal pizza and the sweetest team of legends) is opening on a Tuesday especially for us! This one has a closing time of 9pm, just because we’d like their team to get an early night (and so would I), but there are several nearby locations that are excellent for a post dinner drink should you wish to continue the party.

Please find the event link below and click attending if you will be there as this one may fill up very quickly!

I’m 36, I’m a comedian, and I’m about to kill my boyfriend…

From the Olivier Award-winning producers of Fleabag and Baby Reindeer comes this blisteringly funny and unnervingly honest dark comedy by Marcelo Dos Santos (Backstairs Billy).

A perpetually single, professionally neurotic stand-up finally meets his Mr. Right—and then does absolutely everything wrong. But is Mr. Right all he seems? And how far will this comedian go for the sake of a killer punchline?

With razor-sharp wit and aching vulnerability, Feeling Afraid as if Something Terrible is Going to Happen dives headfirst into modern love, ego, and the fine art of self-sabotage. Hilarity and heartbreak collide in a whip-smart, one-man confessional about intimacy, insecurity, and the danger of getting exactly what you think you want.

“The gag-count is ridiculously high… Catch it, before everyone else does.” – The Telegraph

“…funny while being uncomfortably real, sometimes devastating, and consistently entertaining.” – Salterton Arts Review

We are going to be honest here, we have NO IDEA what this is going to end up being…

We are locking our Festival creator in a room with some pretty talented people to make it, but we guarantee the following: chaos, carnage, guests stars, fierce entertainment, questions, queerness and a battle for the ages where at this stage, even we don’t know how we are going to split the teams.

We are slapping an R18 rating on this event because with how the world is going, we just don’t know what the content might be and yea, the audience participation is going to be relentless.

Good luck and don’t f*ck it up!
